Explore real-time air quality from space, anywhere on Earth.
About Global TEMPO
Global TEMPO is an interactive platform that makes air quality and weather data easy to understand, for everyone, everywhere. For North America, we use NASA's TEMPO satellite to deliver near-real-time air quality insights. For the rest of the world, we integrate OpenAQ and OpenWeather data to provide the closest possible view.
Global TEMPO Services
Providing real-time air quality and weather information globally, along with local IoT monitoring.
Interactive AQI Map
Visualize air quality data anywhere in the world with real-time updates from NASA TEMPO and OpenAQ.
Weather & Forecasts
Access current weather conditions and hourly forecasts integrated with pollution data for better planning.
Local Air Quality Monitoring
Deploy Arduino-based sensors to measure hyper-local AQI and send data directly to the platform.
Air Quality Analytics
Analyze trends in pollution levels, compare satellite and ground data, and visualize insights with charts.
Community Data Sharing
Enable users to contribute local air quality readings and help build a global community monitoring network.
Global TEMPO Hardware
The Global TEMPO project includes an Arduino-based environmental monitoring system designed to collect real-time data on key environmental parameters.
Key Components
- Arduino Uno: Central microcontroller for data collection
- DHT11 Sensor: Temperature and humidity monitoring
- LDR: Ambient light intensity detection
- Rain Sensor: Precipitation measurement
